Čeherako is a rather decent sized country located at southwestern Latelen. It is a peaceful, ambitious, and courageous country led by a winning tribe selected from a game of religious activities. There are three major tribes; the Mé'aythákú tribe (a tribe who are fierce and agile as mountain lions), Alú Aŋše (The Fire Cloud) and Čeher Četsa (The Deer Rider). There are small tribes, but they are considered "children" to the three biggest tribes of Čeherakon peoples.

Their rights are prescribed to them through religious belief. They believe that through their religious belief, the people of Čeherako should know (religious laws active in Čeherako) by spirit and heart, the rights and rules of the land. Anyone caught purposely betraying the Spirit's Might ("God's" rules) are sentenced in which the chief of Čeherako can decide how long the punishment is kept.

Their currency are little brown, shiny rocks dug up out of the ocean floor around Čeherako in which they carve the country's symbol, a deer head, into the center of each side. The currency, known as Kéčuŋšu, is traded for food, weapons (hunting supplies) and building supplies. Land is not bought, as the people of Čeherako believe the land belongs to all and instead, territories for the three major tribes have been set and within, small sections cut for others. Although isolated, the winning tribe of Čeherako sets up his own "team" near the borders to trade outside goods occasionally and to keep the border tight so no unwanted influences sneak into Čeherako.

History

By 3700 BCE, the first settlement of the Čeherako peoples emerged. They were a small tribe of 7000 at the time when they decided to merge with the local people known as Aŋše encá (Cloud people), the religious tribe. Nearly all the Aŋše encá people died off from illnesses, starvation and tribal fighting, leaving a group of women, children and elderly men and women of 2235 peoples. The chief of the Čeherakon tribe at that time decided against his peoples wishes and "merged" with the Aŋše encá to help them. Through three hundred years of mixing, they finally became one people united under the name "Čeherako" and adopted the Aŋše encá religion as their own in 3400 BCE.

Through 3700 BCE to 3400 BCE the Aŋše encá taught the Čeherako the different types of plants (edible, poisonous), animals (dangerous and not) and ritual grounds (holy lands) and the Čeherako taught the Aŋše encá arts of healing, (better) hunting, fishing and tribal music and games.

Around 3000 BCE, the first tribal fight between the Čeherako peoples happened. During the dead of night, a group calling themselves the "Mé'aythákú tribe" attacked and killed tents full of Čeherako people associated with the chief (the tribe known as Alú Aŋše after near direct descendants of the Aŋše encá) and tried to take control after slaughtering chief Aluŋk Šáma (translated as Blue Spirit). Through the destruction, a young man known as "Šúŋmuká I" and his four brothers defended the rest of the Alú Aŋše against further slaughter. After the fight stopped, the Alú Aŋše helped the Šúŋmuká's tribe, "Čeher Četsa", into power to defend the country.

Religion, Rituals & Games

The religion of the Čeherako people, all tribes, is called Čeher Šáma (Deer Spirit). They believe that the deer is a scared animal and is the chosen image of the Spirit (God). It is a gentle, strong, loving and loyal creature which was the cause to form the impression of their ways on Čeherako people, which also inspired their laws.

Through the Čeher Četsa rule a gaming ceremony between tribes every 100 years to select the new chief was passed. The game ceremony has the tribes run against each other in spear throwing, arrow games, swimming, climbing, fasting in the ritual lands and capturing a live male deer (the largest male deer brought back is the winner of that game). Each tribe may select one male (or rarely, a female) to run and compete for their tribe. The inauguration of the winning tribe's man/woman has to drink a purple drink known as "Čéten Auth" (God water).

Čeherako Tribe Areas & Responsibilities

Tribe Colors

Čeherako land is split into three basic groups (colors); blue (largest), red (second largest) and yellow, the smallest. The blue land has been owned by the Čeher Četsa tribe since the settlement and has the most holy sites, produces the most weapons, spiritual animals and is home of the Čeher. The red land is owned by the Alú Aŋše. The land produces a nice resource to building their homes and ceremony supplies. The last piece of land, yellow, is owned by the Mé'aythákú tribe. The Mé'aythákú tribe fish the most out of the tribes and is considered the best in Čeherako, and are often the ones selling, trading and eating the most fish.

The Mé'aythákú tribe is responsible for watching the eastern ocean front in case of attacks, serious weather and large water game. The Alú Aŋše tribe is responsible for much the same for the south, though they must make the supplies needed to build homes and boats and the Čeher Četsa are responsible for all the people of Čeherako, weapons, defense, trading transactions, spiritual guidance and western sea watch.

Military & Training

The military of Čeherako was established after the Tribal war in 3000 BCE. The military is powered by all three major tribes and is led by seven men (what we call generals) who are in charge of the military's soldiers to be trained.

The Čeherako soldiers training consists of the same basic exercises the three major tribes undergo during the ceremony to pick a new chief. Soldiers have to live six months alone in the wilderness with nothing but the weapon they left home with to join, and to come back with proof of their achievement. By the end of their journey, the Čétenencá (God people) start a separate, small ceremony for the soldiers which usually starts at night and ends before the sun rises. To ensure the country's safety, 300 men are drafted every two to three years and are spiritually "ordered" to serve 6+ years. Failure to follow a spiritual draft order ends with a death curse; throwing the spirit betrayer out of camps, stripped of weapons, titles, money, food and family to live his curse alone in the wilderness to either die for his full term, if given, or live through a short term.
