The Bogriai Ocean is the Verevian term used to refer to the Maipes Ocean, the southernmost and by far, the largest ocean on Daia. The continent Latelen rests to its north and It encompasses the island countries of Saaret, Elsendo, Country 27 and Country 25.

Etymology

Bogriai is the modern Alessan form of the Ancient Almsaundean word "bogrjaj", meaning "big waters". The term was coined by the former nation of Alessajndrjana during its long era of thelassocracy. The accepted term, "Maipes" comes from a Samar word.

Geography

Modernly, thirteen countries have borders in the Bogriai Ocean; Safiria, Country 27, the Salian Empire, Country 3, Čeherako, Country 11, Vereva, the Rasoran Union, Nithalosia, Samarkainia, Saaret, Country 25 and Elsendo.
