Transport
The pride and joy of the COU is the international rail network. The network was the founding reasons behind the union in the first place. The COU nations all have a stake in a company known as the Central Ottish Union Rail Co. or COURC (pronounced /ko:rk/, called the cork colloquially).
<information about the rail itself, maybe a map of the main lines>
The company owns and operates TGV trains which run regular routes between the cities. Although the rails themselves are owned by each nation's internal rail provider, under the COU agreement, the nations must allow the cork to operate on these lines without charge as well as use the stations.
Customs is performed upon disembarkment of the train in the destination city. The COU CID is utilised in this instance.
Major Stations
Nithalosia
The red lines mark the major railroads, the brown lines mark the minor ones. The black dots indicate major cities (the capital in orange) and the minor towns are marked with a white dot.
The major stations are:
- Nithash City station
- Da Kavay central station
- Govxa City station
- Yamvox City station
Due to the isolation of the island of Seret, there does not exist any train lines running there. You must transfer from a train to a boat in the port city of Yamvox.
Salian Empire
In Salia the rail lines of the COU connect all across upper Nezauloðia, but few lines go through the SCD and one special line runs along a strip of land that once belonged to Vercia.
The major stations are:
- Valias Ilas station
- Zevardhe station
- Sudhafylls station
- Laceqiya station
- Niceq station
- Razyevqa station
The Valias Ilas station is the only one that connects into the SCD and is the only one that can go into lower Nezauloðia. It connects on one end to Kono Mai and on the other end to upper and lower Nezauloðia. This is the large orange dot in the middle of the Salian Plateau. The routes enter and exit the Salian Plateau at the light blue points on the map.
The Süðàfjỳlls station is the station in the main city that stretches along a good portion of Salia south of the SCD.
The Niceq station is in Niceq, which is a sister city to Nithash City and means the same thing in Nezauloðian. It represents the central hub of the eastern portion of upper Nezauloðia that connects with all the other countries of the region. Zevarðe is somewhat closer to Nithash City, but isn't as large as Niceq and isn't modeled after Nithash City as Niceq is.
The Razyevqa station is in a city that lies at the foothills of the Salian Plateau near Kono Mai and is the station in between Valias Ilas and Mapūno.
The Laceqiya station is located near the northern border at the foothills of the Salian Plateau and is the only station in upper Nezauloðia that connects to Valias Ilas.
Major Interstate Routes
All routes that have a return attached to them are both split into A and B routes. A are listed, while B is the return route. Cyclic routes do not have this distinction.

International Travel
Most of the borders between the COU countries are open to each other without time restriction or need for visa prior to travel. Those which are not totally open typically have a 90+ Day allowance for travel.
When travelling between countries, a COU citizen is forced to undergo customs screening for things like drugs and other illegal contraband in the country of immigration. To gain access into the country, the traveller must be carrying a COU CID (Central Ottish Union Citizen's ID) in order to be granted the free access. These cards can easily be obtained by citizens of a COU country from each respective government.
