Cwentach (IPA: ['ken.tax] or ['kʷen.tax]), officially the Federal Republic of Cwentach, is a country in western Kensilla. It is the second smallest non-island country on Daia, after Country 12, and the smallest country in continental Kensilla.

Etymology
Cwentach is Ñailathañw for "yellow country". In the culture of Cwentach the color yellow is associated with the center, so this essentially means "middle country". Megirthear, Muegirtear, and K'enhat'yashe are the corresponding words in Nealghol, Merho, and Nhywyrem, respectively.
The words Cemben in Ñailathañw, Cemwen in Nhywyrem, Kembhen in Nealghol, and Kemon in Merho are derived from the Almsaundean word Kemwën, meaning "a union of city-states". The modern meaning of the borrowed words is roughly "federation" or "union".
Geography
Cwentach is mostly a flat, grassy plain, with a few larger rivers producing riparian flood plain areas. The northern border is along the winding Lilibeth River. Wetlands extend from the southern coast inland. The southeast is arid, a desolate shrubland and in some areas devoid of any vegetation.
