Edenha is a theocratic nation located in the south-west of Otshem. It is bordered by 5 other countries and the south-side of Edenha is the country's only coastline.
The country's motto ("prayer prospers men") derives from the belief that the land's prosperity is intimately related to the country's attitude and obedience towards the Gods. It is one of only countries in Daia, along with Hyldia, whose form of Government is theocratic. On August 22, 2008, Edenha became a member of the Central Ottish Union.

Etymology
Geography
Climate
Much of Edenha is characterized by a hot semi-arid climate, with cooler areas being found in the mountainous regions of the North-East, where Edenha receives most, if not all, of its annual snowfall. Below zero temperatures are a rarity, with the lowest temperatures in Edenha being recorded at an average of 9 degrees centigrade in the winter months. The southern areas of Edenha contain desert climates; the highest recorded temperatures occur in the South-western desert known as the "the Devil's dwelling."
The south of Edenha receives relatively little rain, whilst the North has almost ten times as much precipitation (though, this only averages 715 mm per annum). Light rainfalls are quite uncommon, with most of the rain occurring in mid-spring thunderstorms.
History
Government and politics
Since Edenha is a theocratic state, the Edenian Government has as its head the Monarch Zadan III, who is considered to be "the divine Lord" (Erhd Hdna). The current laws that exist within the country are based on the dictates of religious texts, and also upon the wisdom of previous monarchs. Edenha's foundational legal document is the Edenian Declaration of Rights, shortened to EDR, which sets out the country's basic attitude towards human persons, and the rights which should be appropriated them.
The principle whereby the Monarchy dispenses divine judgement is called "Xet Hdena". Such statements may only be pronounced from the Temhl Hrada (lit. "house of law"). The Temhl Hrada, located in Edenha's capital of Temhl, is comprised of 60 religious leaders and experts who are believed to be able to discern the divine will.
Branches of Government
The Edenian Government is divided into three main branches: The Executive, The Legislative, and The Judiciary. Each branch of the Government has one hundred administrators who advise the sixty religious leaders of the Temhl Hrada. As such, the total number of persons representing the highest forms of Goverment in Edenha total three hundred and sixty (considered a holy number in the state religion).
