Hyldian history is normally divided into six eras: the preanunsian era (2500 BCE - 100 CE), the early anunsian era (100 - 699), the high anunsian era (699 - 1500), the era of the Great Hyldian Empire (1501 - 1583), the postwar period (1584 - 1900) and the modern period (1900-).

The Preanunsian Era
The earliest trace of settlements in Hyldia is in an area some hundred kilometres west of Yindil, near a town called Hlyisa, and close to the town of Vyilemina. Both areas are at the hyldian north coast, Forenia Scqorren, and the settlements are dated to about 2500 BCE. About three hundred years later the whole region, of what toaday is Daelien, was inhabited of hyldians. The hyldians were fish and reindeer neatherds and they lived in small huts that were easy to move, so some of them could move up inte the mountains in the summer where it was easy for the reindeers to find food. And in the winter they lived at the coast because of the amount of snow in the mountain plateaus.
The Preanunsian Migration
In the three hundred years between 2200 and 1900 BCE there was a big migration in the hyldian population, called the preanunsian migration. A tribe called þeiþtians, later seþtians, moved south from the coast and on the other side of the big mountains of the Geruna mountains. Two other tribes of the hyldian population, called Toehlyi and Naora, moved east. Early traces of Toehlyi are found at the Eþra river around 2000 BCE and stonepaintings of the naora tribe are found near the town of Soemon. The meirms travelled to the island that now carries their name: Meirma. The daehlians stayed at the areas around today's Graens, Yindil, Hlyisa and Vyilemina. During the Preanunsian Era, between 2500 BCE and 100 CE, hyldian tribes were spread around all the land that today is Hyldia and north Vösia. The aerians, the monirs and the loetlomians went south and builded villages and settlements around the talvian bay and the germbians the uþþians went futher east. In 300 BCE there was a religous schism among the hyldian tribes. There has been found evidence that more and more hyldians converted from the early polytheistic religions to the tritheistic belief of the þeþtians. This belief was spread all around the hyldian tribes, all the way down to the loetlomians in todays Vösia.
