Motorised vehicles
Transport is important in Nithalosia. Under the provisions of the Nithalosian laws set by the Nithalosian government, the use of personal automobiles is strictly prohibited. This includes:
- Cars
- Motorcycles
- Motorised scooters
- Trucks
The reason for this is Nithalosian cities, such as Niđaš were not built with roads wide enough to support the use of motorised vehicles when introduced. The government further decided to promote economic self-sustainability and cut reliance on foreign suppliers of fuel, that banning motorised vehicles was a good measure to take.
There is a non-prohibition zone wherein vehicles are allowed in Nithalosia. This occurs within 20km from all borders with other countries. This does not include borders on the coast. Within each of these 20km zones are sufficient enough transfer stations where travellers can enter the NIR network.
Train systems
There are two state-owned rain companies in Nithalosia. These are Nithalosia Inter-Rail (NIR), which is an intercity and international service, and Nithalosia Intra-Metro (NIM) which manages all rails within cities.
Nithalosia Inter-Rail (NIR)
In 1904 the Nithalosia Government approved the creation of NIR. The focus of NIR was to provide an efficient alternative to motor vehicles to move people and heavy freight between Nithalosian cities. The first major rail lines (Routes 1, 2 and 3) were completed by 1917. In 1923 the government approved new rails from Nithash, Da Kavai and Govtha cities into surrounding international territories. In 1959 the tunnel to Seret (called Route S1) was completed.
Red Lines
The red lines are considered the main trunk lines within Nithalosia. They are given the route numbers 1, S1, 2 and 3. Trains running on these lines will run the entire course of the route, when travellers wishing to travel on other routes will be forced to transfer.
The maps on the left show the lines. The top one shows the red lines in Nithalosia with the cities marked with circles (and the capital Nithash marked with a square), and the lower one shows the route numbers.

Green Lines
Green lines are those that run from major cities on the red lines, to the smaller towns. Furthermore to this, the green line trains will run on routes 1, S1, 2 and 3, but stop at some of the smaller towns in between. The green line services operate on routes 1, S1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, S6, 7, 8, 9, 10, S10, 11 and 12. These are the overall maps showing the green line services, the left showing just the lines with towns, and the right showing the line numbers.
Below is a comprehensive list of the routes of the Green Line including all the major stops. Where a
is present, one can transfer to another line at this station and continue their journey elsewhere. Please note that some of the lines are loops, and do not have a "return" as they end at the same station they start. List of major stations:

Black Lines
The black lines run along green and red lines, but stop at every single station along the line. Most people use this service for hopping between small towns. Others transferring to green or red lines when available at bigger cities.
Blue Lines
The blue lines are the NIR international lines. At this stage, the following agreements exist within the continent:
- Toitūkōlad - Nith-Toitu Rail Scheme
The following routes are run by NIR trains into other territories from within Nithalosia. Links to any other cities outside Nithalosia need to be done by transferring to another train at a station marked with
. The change occurs when the NIR train enters another country's rail network and operates their services as well, under the number as per the foreign rail system, although NIR trains.
