Riyon or Modern Vercian is the official modern Vercian spoken language used throughout the country, and in the region of Aerien in
Hyldia. It is an old language, dating back to 500 CE.
The phonology of standard Vercian is based on the Halstät dialect of Hoxen. There are 3 different dialects spoken across the central, and south-eastern regions of

History
The Riyon language is hypothesised to date back to 350BCE. Evidence has backed up this theory with carved engravings found at the steppes of the north-eastern Verszian mountains. The first texts in riyon are found near lyimnen, in Hyldia. These texts date back to 195CE.
